This is My Year!
Hi! I'm a 25 year old graphic designer from Ohio. I decided back in January that this is my year to make a change. Around 4 years ago I had lost 50+ pounds and was on my way to a healthier weight. Unfortunately, once my boyfriend and I started getting in that comfortable zone of our relationship, I started picking up bad eating habits. I ended up putting back on 30 or more pounds. So at the beginning of the year I set a goal to lose 60-65 lbs.

My Goals:
In January my goal was to lose 60-65 lbs. So far I've lost 32 lbs (as of May 5th). My ultimate goal is to lose most of my weight by early/mid September when I'll be going on a houseboat vacation with my boyfriend and a group of our friends. For the first time in my life, I want to look awesome in a bathing suit! I also just want to make an overall lifestyle change. No more yo-yo diets or spurts of working out for months and then complete inactivity. It's time to take control of my life!
My Program:
In January I started making changes to my diet and began riding my stationary bike for an hour each day. I quickly lost 10 lbs. I was bored with the bike though so I started doing Zumba. It was a great change of pace and I continued losing weight. The more I've been working out, the more I've wanted to challenge myself. So I began doing high intensity circuit training using Jillian Michael's dvds. In April I hit a plateau in my weight loss so I changed it up again doing Bob Harper's Kettlebell Cardio Shred. The weight is finally starting to drop and I am HOOKED on kettlebells! They are amazing! I still have fat to shed all over my body but I'm getting muscle definition I've never had before. Once I reach my goal, this body is going to be toned and solid as a rock!

My name is Tante and I'm a 25 year old female from Ohio. I work as a graphic designer which doesn't help the waistline! I live with my boyfriend of 3 years in our home that we bought in 2009. No kids, except our boxer Murphy :)
