My Goals:
to be 150 lbs and FIT!
Teach my daughters to eat healthy and exercise by example!
Feel sexy again, even if my hubby thinks I am right now...I don't!

My Program:
Watching what I eat:
vegies and wild game instead of beef
Jillian Michaels DVD's (she kicks my butt!)
running/walking
Tons-o-water!

Personal Information:
I'm from southern Wisconsin and actually cross the "cheddar curtain" into Illinois every day to work at a Soil & Water Conservation District. I'm married and have two daughters and three dogs (a black lab named Cheyenne, a Chesapeak named Belle and a yellow lab named Kodiak).

Other Information:
I love the outdoors (hence my job), love to camp, fish, hunt, hike, run, bike, canoe...I could go on and on...basically anything done outdoors! My outdoor passion involves the whole family. For example, four weeks after my daughter was born by c-section, my mom, dad, husband, daughter, and I were out in Wyoming hunting antelope. I got a Booner!

Hi SHOHNEKE! I hope the birthday party went well. Has the snow melted yet? It has to be soon. :-)

Thank you for adding me! I look forward to getting to know you and sharing this weight loss journey with you. It's much better to know someone else is out there doing the same things and can understand this. Have a blessed day! emoticon

You, your husband and kids should try cowboy fast draw. Great family sport. Besides we are always looking for a few fast women. We have a multi-generational family in our club and I am always impressed with how well behaved and personable the youngsters are. They learn from age 5 to be friendly, disciplined, and well-mannered cause if you want to play got to follow the rules, including spreading good will. If you are ever in Arizona, come by and we will strap a peacemaker to your hip and see what you can do. See my new blog at www.fastdraw.blogspot.com. Trust me, Spring is almost here.

Hi Shohneke - I think your family race idea is a good one. I have done some family sprint or mini tri's where the kids go first. It has been fun to watch them. My youngest had a time figuring out the bike but now he can almost keep up with his older sister. Then when the kids finish, I go. My hubby is pit crew, so somebody is there with them. I like the three event thing...it mixes it up a bit. I'm not fast either but I do like getting the feeling of accomplishment afterwards. :-)
