Time to make a change...

I have spend the last 18 years of my life trying to take off the "baby wieght " I put on in my first pregnancy. Obviously whatever i'm doing or not doing for that matter is not helping. Why continue to eat my way to an early death?

It's been four months since I started this Journey. My weight still fluctuates up and down but I feel like when I hit a plateau my weight stays there instead of creeping back up. My husband issued a challenge to me and said that he doesn't think I ...

My husband issued a challenge to me and said that he doesn't think I can continue my walking goal of virtually walking from Arlington, WA to Orlando FL in 2 years. I can't wait to prove him wrong.

My Goals:
I am currently at 226 lbs and my goal is to lose 50 lbs. I also want to be able to improve my health enough to stop taking meds for diabetes and cholestorol.

My Program:
1. control portion sizes
2. drink 8+ cups of water daily
3. eat less carbs (my weakness)
4. cut out fast food
5. exercise using wii or walking for 30+ minutes daily.

Personal Information:
I'm a 33 year old mom of three teenagers. I live in Arlington, Wa.

I enjoy knitting, crochet, scrap booking, exercising, reading about self improvement, and quilting.

Other Information:
I can do anything through christ Jesus who strengthens me.
