Making lifestyle changes
Have been diagnosed w/ Type 2 Diabetes for about 6 yrs. I have seriously been making changes to my diet that have been positive. My blood sugars are much more regular than previously. What I need to do now is get off my tush and strart getting active.

My Goals:
I was diagnosed with diabetes about 6 yrs ago. I thought I was doing ok until I was put on Insulin 2 yrs ago. I want to acquire good eating habits for the rest of my life. I want to get off the insulin. I want to lose 100 pds.
My Program:
I track my food daily. I excercis 5 days a week. Cardio 5 days, Strength 3 days. I drink 8 glasses of water a day. I stretch 5 min. every day. And I check my BS at least once a day.
Personal Information:
I am originally from Ca. Moved to CO for 11 yrs. I will be moving to AZ in April of this year. My name is Doreen. I have been Married to my husband Robert for 8 yrs. We have been together for 19 yrs. He is my soul mate. I have one grown daughter who lives in AZ. I have a grandson, Shiloh,who is 3 and my pride and joy. My granddaughter ,Leena, is 1 yr old next month. She is a little replica of her mother. My grandchildren are my reason for getting this body healthy. I need to see them grow up!!! They are my motivation. I want to run and play with them.
