My name is Cheryl. I just joined last week and I am looking to get healthier. In April I had a hysterectomy and I've lost about 12 lbs. since then and I've hit kind of a plateau. I exercise almost daily, but have a sedentary job. I sit on a fitness ball at work most days so I can work the abs a little while working. Need to get one of those balls for the home workouts, too. My short term goal is to get out of the obese BMI range and get to just the overweight BMI range. I am at 210 lbs. now ...
My name is Cheryl. I just joined last week and I am looking to get healthier. In April I had a hysterectomy and I've lost about 12 lbs. since then and I've hit kind of a plateau. I exercise almost daily, but have a sedentary job. I sit on a fitness ball at work most days so I can work the abs a little while working. Need to get one of those balls for the home workouts, too. My short term goal is to get out of the obese BMI range and get to just the overweight BMI range. I am at 210 lbs. now so I have a way to go at 5' 8". After that accomplishment I will start to get into the normal BMI range. Spark Goals said I should be at 161 lbs. for my height. Hmmm, we will see. I have been in the overweight range most of the time, but since some health problems over the last few years I put on weight and got into the obese range. That was a little bit of a shock when I realized that! Anyhow, I am hoping that the Spark way will help me stay on track for the long term. I am very motivated to get healthier and enjoy my retirement in about 9 or 10 years. I have a great family. Married for almost 36 yrs. with a 34 yr. old son and a 9 yr. old son. I have three grandsons aged 15, 3 and 1. Don't ask how we had our kids 24.5 years apart. We just call it extreme family planning! God truly does have a sense of humor. It has been a great blessing for us,
