I Love my wonderful Family! I have 8 grandkids, that I enjoy !! I love to watch movies, and I like to walk. My husband and I love going to Estate Auctions, we have a ball!! I am doing the total Gym workout, and I love it. I LOVE THIS WEB SITE AND MY SPARK FRIENDS.... DISCIPLINE BEGINS WITH SMALL THINGS DONE DAILY !!!!

My Goals are...to loose weight in a way I will keep it off, by eating healthy daily. To walk as much as I can, and to keep a positive outlook. To exercise 3x week.MAKE GOOD CHOICES IN EATING!
Each day I am eating lots of salads, vegies, and drinking lots of water...so far it's working for me. I am walking a short distance each day. Tracking all foods that I eat ..my main goal!!!!!
My New exercise plan is my Total Gym!
I am retired and enjoy my grandkids. They keep us laughing. My husband and I have lots to keep us busy. We love going to Estate Auctions. Things I enjoy are the grandkids, our McKinney Trade Day Booth, scrapbooking, watching movies.
I hope this web site helps others, as much as it has helped me. By eating healthy, I have more energy, and and a positive outlook. It is something I am doing for "ME".

Here's a pretty typical menu for what I'm eating these two weeks. And, YEA!!, cottage cheese IS included. It's considered a cheese, not dairy, so you can use it, too. I'll give you the list and you can substitute what you like.
6 oz. tomato juice or V8
1/2 cup egg substitute
2-3 slices canadian bacon
Decaf coffee with non-fat milk and sugar substitute (I'm using sugar)
1-2 Turkey roll-ups (thinly sliced turkey, low-fat mayo, green bell pepper strips, rolled up with a romaine lettuce leaf)
Tuna salad- 1 can tuna with 1/3 each chopped cucumber, tomato, avocado, celery, radishes, and 1 cup romaine lettuce
dressing- 4 teaspoons olive oil, 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice, garlic, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
sugar free Jello
celery stuffed with 1 wedge Laughing Cow Light Cheese
Baked chicken breast (I use chicken fajita meat)
Tossed salad (mixed greens, cucumbers, green peppers, cherry tomatoes)
2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette or low-sugar prepared dressing
1 teaspoon peanut butter or Ricotta Creme (call me for recipe) or jello

I would like to just take a minute a give a HUGE shout-out to my mom! When I look at your page today, your progress, and your encouraging attitude, it's pretty dang amazing! Mom, you've had so much "on your plate" these past few months, and the fact that you've continued to maintain your progress is INCREDIBLE! Those who know you have seen you walk a very challenging path with so much grace, compassion, and love. Now it's time to make yourself a priority again, Granny! I challenge you to do something this week that's just for YOU. Celebrate your accomplishment by pampering yourself.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR 20 POUNDS!! I am SOOOOOO proud of you, and know you have to be proud too!! Celebrate with a little broccoli slaw, LOL!!
Seriously, I'm proud of your accomplishment! I'm doing fine, have maintained, but am starting the hard core "losing" again later today or tomorrow. Bought new scales, 4 pounds heavier than my old ones, so I'm just going to lose 4, and stay the same on my ticker.
Off to art class and chicken fajita salad at tony's in farmersville!!
