I have been on Spark for a quite a while now, I come and go as far as the tracking tools, but I am ready for another go around. I'm not in BAD shape, in fact I dont think I have ever actually been "over" weight, I just have ALWAYS had a little pot belly! Ice Cream is my nemisis! So! Like all the experts on Spark and elsewhere tell you, tracking wil keep me accountable. I WILL be able to SEE my ripped abs by June 1, 2013 my wedding date!!!! I will track my calories burned and food eaten, and I will STOP you dreaded pint of Culver's Birthday Cake Custard!

My Goals:
Fitness wise, I have always wanted to see my abs!!
I want to acheive balance, physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually.
Life long goal, to someday have my name mentioned in the same sentence as Charles De Kunnfy.
And on the mommy front to raise the best little gentleman I can "Be a simple kind of man," is my theme song.

My Program:
I am tracking everything!! Just like money trickling out of the bank account on little snacks and pit stops, the calories seem to sneak up. Health fitness, seems to go hand in hand with financial fitness, and they both help with mental fitness.
In order to stay focused my mainstay exercise is Yoga - it can be meditative, it can be healing, or sweaty, or strengthening, and all of the above at the same time. I have found that it helps me laugh when my son messes up the slip covers instead of yelling, and improves my riding seat even when I haven't had a lesson in 2 months.

Personal Information:
I have extremely ecclectic tastes from Dj Jazzy Jeff to Clanad, Moby to Wierd Al Yonkovic. I just go with the flow and like whatever fits with my present mood. One of the things that has been a bigger detriment than help, and maybe others can relate, is that I am a perfectionist. Having a four yr old and an hr commute 1 way has forced me out of it a lot, but it certainly exlains a great portion of my draw to Dressage.

Kudos to you for joining us here on the Raw Foodies Team. This will be one of the best decisions you have ever made. Sparkers come here and join this great team for a multitude of reasons. They may be curious about the health benefits of Raw Food and join to learn all about eating Raw. Many join for the weight loss. Many join the Team for a Detox. There are a great many people who do the Raw Food Diet as a Detox but then they realize how alive they feel and how the pounds melted away so effortlessly they decide to continue to eat this way. There are others who will join this Team for the health benefits of a Raw Food Diet. A diet based on raw food can reverse diabetes, arthritis (I personally have experienced this. I went off all of my arthritis meds after only a few weeks), heart disease, cancer (that is how I became involved with the Raw Food Diet when my sister was diagnosed with Lymphoma), eliminates migraines, the list goes on and on.
