1)Adhere to the 8 wk sprint triathlon training program. Lengthen distances after 8 wks.

Personal Information:
I'm Sherri from Winston-Salem, NC. I enjoy cycling, swimming, wogging (walk/jogging), gardening, Bible study, reading, piano, golf, traveling (especially mission trips). I am, unfortunately, a jack of many trades - master of none! That keeps me from getting in a rut, but prevents me from excelling at any one thing.
I am an RN, currently unemployed in order to help care for my parents. I manage a free clinic 2 mornings a week in a low-income area of our town.
Family is my passion. I am motivated to get and stay fit in order to enjoy my family to the max!

Other Information:
I have 2 beautiful granddaughters, Sophie and Lola. Pure bliss :)

Thanks for reading my blog today. I agree it would be great to get together soon. We need to spend some time on one of the golf courses. Our ladies captain's choice tournaments will start on Mondays again on April 13th. Let me know when you want to get together for golf or lunch, walk or anything we might want to do. emoticon

Thanks for the advice. I can do 10 minutes. There is a resistance band workout on You Tube for a 15 minute workout with a suggestion to do it 3 times. I know I could do it if I set my mind to it(there is the problem) and I'll be working on it. emoticon

Thanks for your comment on water. I am mostly drinking 8-10 a day now, but, I do a couple of workouts and when I am hot and sweating I want at least 16 oz as soon as I finish those in addition to 16 every morning when I get up and again with night time meds. I mentioned my friend Kathy, who did, according to her doctor drink too much. I think I will continue doing what I have been for I do feel fine. Managed to get the 4 lbs. I gained off this month, but, I have worked my butt off to do it. emoticon
