I decided to get in better shape, so that I could keep up with my youngest (step) son. He is 8 and full of energy. I needed more energy and I want to be a fun, physically active grandma, someday! :)

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 30lbs, but even more importantly... I want to maintain my weight loss indefinitely. I am tired of dieting!!!! I want to get this part of my life under control.

My Program:
I want to eat more food, but take in less calories.

Sheryl, I AM SO GLAD you sent me a message!! Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. Congrats on being a GRANDMA (times two!) How old are the boys??
Nope, Kelsey moved out with her boyfriend in May. Kind of bittersweet. I don't miss her messes and her occasional mouth but I do miss her!! She is doing well. Is going to school full time and also working full time. Not sure how she does it! She went to Ireland this summer for 15 days as part of a study abroad program. I am very proud of her!
What else is new!? I saw your message on your 1 team (was looking to see if you are still on) & I can definitely relate to feeling deprived, esp on the weekends with logging & *trying* to eat well! Uh! It is a never ending battle for me. I KNOW it has to be a lifestyle change- but I enjoy going out and having a couple cocktails occasionally & that leads me to wanting to munch....
Anyway- SO GREAT to hear from you! Please keep in touch!

This is my second challenge and during the fall one I lost 6.5% of my body weight. I had to remember that if I wanted to lose the weight I had to focus on working off close to 500 calories a day and stay within my calorie range. It took me a while to learn this but when I did it worked for me. You have to find out what works for you. Good luck.

Thank you so much for your support! It truly means the world to me. Unfortunately, I have been MIA from spark due to vacation and other things goin on. Hopefully, I will be able to get my spark goin again!
Hopefully I will be able to contribute more to the teams I have joined and that will bring me closer to my goal.
WTG on staying in your calorie range. That is a HUGE accomplishment expecially on the weekend... Here's a big pat on the back!
