Last 25 lbs!
Hello everyone! I'm 31 and recently lost 63 lbs. Not from doing sparkpeople (although I have lost 15 lbs by doing sparkpeople in the past). Hello everyone! I'm 31 and recently lost 63 lbs. Not from doing sparkpeople (although I have lost 15 lbs by doing sparkpeople in the past). I had to undergo a very strict diet and weightloss program as I was in dire needs of losing weight and fast (just was too unhealthy). I did the Dr. Bernstein diet and was very successful on it. I started it in January 2010 and finished (although did not reach my goal weight as I couldn't afford to continue with it) it in June 2010. I am now on a mission to lose my last 25 lbs! I want to do it on my own and feel that I have the power to use my better eating habits and motivation to continue with it. Currently I'm doing the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred every morning. Its a 28 minute workout program and it kicks my butt! After losing 63 lbs and not being able to exercise for 6 months, your skin needs to be toned up! So this DVD is definitely helping me with this. Its also important to note that I suffer from Polycystic OVarian syndrome and am looking to find others in this site with a similar disorder. PCOS makes it difficult to lose weight and causes lots of problems such as insulin resitance, lack of energy, problems getting pregnant, breast cancer, high blood pressure, high cholestoral, etc. The list goes on. However, I think I have pretty much nipped this problems in the bud by losing a majority of the weight I needed to lose. I just need to get to my healthy BMI which is 130 lbs.

My Goals:
To do the JM 30 day shred for a minimum of 28 minutes a day, every morning. Once I have completed this, I have her 2 other dvd's that I plan to do every morning.
My Program:
I plan to get in cardio anyway I can. This includes walking to work and back everyday and walking to and from the gym. I plan to work out 3 to 4 days a week and to incorporate weight training in at least 3 days a week. I plan to get in at least 30-50 minutes of cardio 3 to 4 days a week I am trying to watch my carbs as well by trying to eat more protein and vegetables than carbs.
