Creating a new way of life

I'm an active 39 yo in Florida who has been inspired by Gary Taubes to try the New Atkin's Diet. I know that I am sensitive to starches and sugars, so eat most of my carbs now through veggies. I do martial arts, walk, beach volleyball and bike for exercise because I need to be having fun. I do throw in some strength training 1-2X per week-not as much fun, but necessary. I've lost 50 lbs on a calorie restricted diet, but hit a plateau. Hoping this new lifestyle will help me reach my goals. ...

I'm now tracking calories and exercise on Fatsecret, however, because it is a bit more user-friendly.

Just read your introduction to the Low Carb team, missed it while I was on vacation. I love how much you've read and what you're pondering. I just marked 3 months of low carb. I'm also your height and have lived through your weight range, and I always loved finding "tracker twins" when I was getting going. I was eating LFHC before I dove into LC. Such a great change!
