Hello. I am a 27 year old mother of one. It has been two years since I had my son. After giving birth I weighed a wonderful 145 lbs. Only ten pounds over my original weight. Woohoo!!!!! Since then I have gradually put on weight over the past two and a half years. I know weigh a depressing 165 lbs. This is partly my fault as I used the excuse of breast feeding as a reason to indulge into many foods I would not usually indulge in. This is partly my husbands fault for being genetically skinny and loving fatty food which I have a problem saying no too. On top of this, I recently found out that I am hypothyroid. Oh, bother. Will I ever be skinny again.

I have now just graduated from veterinary school and am 100% geared up to losing weight not that I do not put all my energy into studying. I am looking forward to using this site and its resources to help me achieve my goal of returning at least to my post baby weight.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 28 pounds and return to a lovely 140 pounds. (If I am lucky I would love to get down to 130 but I am thinking baby steps).

My Program:
Well I don't have a program as such. I am trying to stay active as much a possible and achieve my goals which I set in each day.
On top of this I have made a vow to eat only 3 meals a day. No second helpings. I can eat whatever I want but no second helpings. Also, I am aloud a snake dependent on how much I eat. This is usually a piece of fruit or a snake bar. I also am trying to exercise ever day on my elliptical trainer from 15 to 30 mins. depending on how much energy I have.
