My Goals:
To lose weight, gain a healthy lifestyle, and be happy. I'd like to, one day, have a baby or few with my dear husband. I think that I am in the right place in my life for things to start coming together, and for that to happen I have to get myself under control.

My Program:
Baby steps for this adult!

I am doing what I've done in the past... Eating better, exercising a little more, each week I'll eat even better than the week before & I'll exercise more than I did the week before. If I dive in head on I will loose, I have tried it before.

Personal Information:
Well, I don't like to say much personal info online so just ask if you want to know anything.

Other Information:
What are stumbling blocks and defeat before you, can be stepping stones to victory if you remain determined.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! No, one slip-up does not a ruin make, but it sure can be painful on the scales! But then comes the re-cap and we try again, right? I hope you have a real good week and run into no more traps! emoticon

Maybe next time try to leave the house on your walk at the time she is making something hard to resist? You can grab some trail mix and fruit and walk off the temptation for the high calorie bread! But awesome job on planning a healthy dinner, at least you salvaged your day from a morning mistake! emoticon

I'm trying to do the same thing with carbs, cut out the whites and move to more veggies. I struggle getting enough servings of vegetables. I messed up today too by skipping my spinach leaf salad w/sliced almonds for a toasted cheese sandwich with mayo. Boy do cheese calories add up fast!.

On my days off, I am usually traveling the 200 miles to home to spend with my Boyfriend or he is coming up here and we tend to cheat on our healthy eating while we are visiting each other. If I'm home by myself, I end up sleeping a lot more jsut out of exhaustion from work. I need to work on getting motivated to go walking on my days off!

emoticon I did all my strength training though!

Here's to an active tomorrow! emoticon

I'm with you on the carbs train! Those are my weakness, I need encouragement to stay away! I'm discovering that home-made trail mix (I'm allergic to peanuts, so no pre-packaged mixes for me!) helps me get a carb fix in a better and delicious way. Are you going to try and cut all carbs (pastas/breads?) or do a switch into whole wheat ? I do the exercise part easily too, at least on days I am working, my job keeps me moving A LOT. I need help staying motivated on my days off though, maybe you can help? :)

Looking forward to it! emoticon
