I lost 40lbs!!

Ok. So I got moving. I ate less and lost 19 more lbs and then quit. That was April. AMAZINGLY I have not gained a pound back. But, I have got to lose that pound. It will put me at my next goal. I have a long way to go. But, I can do it with the help of God, and my friends. It is almost august. I want to lose 1 more by 9/1 and then another 20 by 1/1. I have set myself at 5 lbs a month. This a more then reasonable goal. I think I can even do better than that. But, I would hate to get ...

So, I will just do it this way and be sucessful. Keep me in your prayers. If all goes as planned I will weigh less by 1/1/09 than I have in about 4 years. PRAISE GOD!!!
I made my goal on 8/1. So I have the whole month of August as a freebie. Anything I lose this month is BONUS!! 60 by Christmas here I come!!

My Goals:
I gained 100 pound in about 1 year after becoming a widow, at 26. It was a crazy time in my life. I was not greiving properly. I was eating instead of dealing with my feelings. I have since dealt with m y feelings and now I have to deal with the weight I put on.

My Program:
Right now I am just beginning. My goal is to find foods that are lower in fat and caories to replace the foods I have been snacking on. Then to reduce the amount of snacks I am consiming. QUIT drinking any and all pop (soda). Exercise 5 days a week. That is the hardest for me to do. I get a serious case of the "i don't wanna's" and there goes that. So pray for me to find strength in that area.

My number 1 reason for losing weight is I'm tired of being fat and not finding cute clothes in the cow section as I like to call it. I've lucked out, I've found the hottie - chunky hottie but he's still cute none the less. Now, if I can keep from killing him, my other reason is I want to have kids one day and my first cheapest option on doing that is losing weight.

Of course, that'd suck if I lose the weight and could have kids, then him turn up sterile. emoticon
