I Can Do This!

I am the mother of 3 little guys and a wife to my very best friend and I am also a teacher! That being said, I have not had a lot of time to spend on my own health...in fact, I have pushed myself back and the food to the front. Why? My excuse has been time or money, I don't have time to eat healthy, I don't have the money to eat healthy! It is easier to eat this way, I have had a looong day, so I will treat myself to a big bowl of ice-cream. The operative word there was EXCUSE! Time to ...

Time to commit to eating healthy and getting my family healthy at the same time. All fires start with a spark. My spark is to drink 8 glasses of water each day, exercise 3 days a week, and journal each day! Can't wait to start!

My Goals:
I want to lose 35 lbs, make exercising a regular part of my week, make healthier meals for my family by eating sensibly, and enjoy the benefits of weight loss!

Long Term:

*In one year I want to be preparing most meals at home (something I tend to struggle with), and I want them to be nutritious meals!

*In one year I want to be maintaining my weight loss, be active and healthy, and be the best mom and wife I can be!

Short Term Goals:

*Lose 5 pounds by

Fast Break Goals (weekly goals):

*Journal each day

*Drink 8 cups of water a day 7 0ut 0f 7 days a week

*Exercise 3 days a week

My Program:
Following the Spark and allowing each goal I reach to spark another!

*Eat 1200 to 1550 calories at least 6 out of 7 days a week

*Drink 8 cups of water a day 7 0ut 0f 7 days a week

*Take Multivitamin daily

*Exercise 3 days a week

Personal Information:
Mother of three amazing little boys and wife of the man of my dreams.

Other Information:
Not only am I working on weight loss goals, but on personal goals to improve as a mother and wife too! I love the spark and that one change can spark many changes!

Hi Michelle....
I'm back from vacation and wanted to say hello!
I had a fabulous time with my family and glad we were able to spend some quality time together (just the 4 of us)!
I took a few extra days off of my healthy plan while trying to acclimate back into work and life! I got back on the horse today and hope to be successful in my quest to lose anther 10 lbs!
I am so excited for your 45lb loss! You are so awesome and inspiring!

I just read your updated info on your sparkpage.... you're doing great! Not only have you learned a lot, but you've inspired many other people-- like me-- to do the same! And a marathon!? WOW!!!! When you become a Zumba instructor, if you were nearby, I'd surely come to your class! Go Michelle! emoticon

Hey!
I've added some new pics in my latest blog :)
I've stayed on track pretty well this week with food, I just haven't exercised very much, I'm off work for the next couple of days, so going to get some in then.
You don't have long til you graduate from c25k!! You are gonna feel great once you do! :) I'm glad you are having more success with outdoor running than me lol.
I haven't been up to much this weekend, I'm working evenings. Tonight I have to stay at work until 1.30am!! I have a late arrival to wait for, luckily I get paid 40 pounds to wait for him, so it's not so bad, just boring.
What have you been up to, besides moving? I hope you make lots of money at your yard sale :)
