When I joined spark originally, my focus was there, the weight initially dropped off & I thought I was onto a winner where I would be at goal within 18months. What I didn't realise was that having goals was a good idea but I didn't anticipate that life would get in the way of my achieving all that I wanted to. Health problems would all poke their noses in to make the journey harder and periods of starting to really enjoy life would also add to the bumps in the road in their own way.

Now it's time to get back to basics, like I did when I first joined SparkPeople, make this journey about what I need to gain overall balance in my life and increase my wellbeing both mentally and physically.

My Goals:
2015

Track my nutrition on a daily basis and aim to be within calorie range most of the time.

Burn a minimum 3000 calories through exercise each week.

Aim to lose 52lbs this year

My Program:
Eating a low fat, high fibre diet, with plenty of fruit and veg.

Exercising regularly using the gym, low impact aerobic exercise DVDs & a home exercise bike.

Drink 8 cups of water/day.

Log nutrition and exercise on the trackers.

Plan to get weighed once a fortnight.

Personal Information:
Hi I'm Michelle and live in Yorkshire, UK with my husband and daughter.

I enjoy reading, watching tv, gardening and surprisingly going to the gym.

I still don't enjoy clothes shopping but at least it's easier to find new clothes now!

Other Information:
26-10-14; I'm 45lbs down on my heaviest weight of 233lbs.

Thanks for commenting on my blog. Yes LCHF stands for low carb/high fat. I increased my fat substantially and my cholesterol numbers have actually improved. Not quite sure why, but I will take it, and my weight is going downn steadily again, after months of yoyoing the same 5 pounds.
