Shell's Spark

I have been battling my weight most of my life. I have begun the Atins Diet recently and I believe this is what works for me. I am married, have 2 girls, work part time and have my own cake decorating business. I need more energy! So that is why I am here. I have tried this so many times, but feel different within myself this time. It's the right time to do it.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 80 pounds and get my body healthy. I want to feel good about my body this summer. I always dread the summer clothes!

My Program:
Started Atkins on 2/18/13.

Personal Information:
I am from Claremore, Oklahoma. I have been married for almost 19 years to a great guy, have 2 daughters (13 and 8), work at a cute little lunch shop and decorate cakes in my off time.

Hi, My name is Tameka and I would like to welcome you to SP. This is a really great and helpful site whether you looking to lose weight, maintain weight, tone up, or just live a healthier lifestyle. The encouragement and motivation you get from other members is so awesome. It's also motivating for me to browse through other members pages and see there progress because it's not some paid advertisement with paid actors saying "you can do it too". Most people are willing to give and receive encouragement, motivation, and help in any way.

If you haven’t done so already, be sure to join some teams that interest you. Also join some of the challenges they have to offer. The challenges for me are really great because they help me to stay on track friendly competition is a great Motivator.

Last but not least, Use the Nutrition Tracker to TRACK EVERYTHING YOU EAT. This was the most important first step for me. It's eye-opening to see how many calories you consume without knowing it, and it's easier to stay on track if you are constantly aware of how many calories you've eaten and how many you have left for the day.

Congratulations on making the first step towards a healthier lifestyle! It won't always be easy… but the outcome is a longer healthier life that keeps us around to do the things we love, with the people whom we love… which makes the effort worthwhile! Also I would like to invite you to a couple of teams that I am on. These teams are full of wonderful members that are willing to lend help, motivation and encouragement in any kind of way.
