Hello everyone!

My name is Michelle, I am 28. I originally joined SparkPeople about three or four years ago when I wanted to lose the 10 pounds I had gained from working at a food place. I tracked my calories and occasionally tracked my workouts. I lost the 10 pounds and thought wow, I don't need this site anymore. So I deleted my account and pretty much went back to eating whatever and not exercising. In October of 2010 I became pregnant. My son was born on July 5th 0f 2011! The best day of my life so far besides my wedding day which was October 13th 2012.

Since having my son, I have come to realize that I am not happy with my weight. Not only that, I want to be healthy and live a long and happy life with my family. So I joined back up with SparkPeople in August of 2011. To be honest the first few months I was not very active in the site and did not really commit to a healthy lifestyle, after all it is hard with a new born baby! But then I sat down and asked myself, "How bad do you really want this? Are you ready to make this commitment?" For the first time the answer was YES! Since then, I have become way more active on the message boards, I've joined a couple of teams challenges. I've even bought the SparkPeople Cook Book, and the 28 Day Boot Camp dvd. I've tried to make sure I at least do 10 minutes of physical activity each day. With small steps I know I can accomplish my goals, and I am so glad that I have found SparkPeople. Now my fiancé and I are both taking the small steps we need to live a longer healthier lives for our family.

Weight to lose-35 pounds.

Live a healthier and more active lifestyle and stop yo yo dieting like I have done so many times in the past.

To be a more positive person.

My Program:
I plan to just take it day by day and not be to hard on myself if I slip up. I also plan to make sure I'm realistic about my goals and understand I need to make a lifestyle change and not just diet. I also hope to meet some great people here to keep me motivated.

Other Information:
My hobbies and interests include; reading, working on scrapbooks, and just spending time with my family and friends.
