I'm a mum of four, hurtling(screaming and kicking) into my late forties - happily married to the most wonderfully patient and understanding man on the planet! I am also a grandma to Lily Anne Rose and Alistair. They call me Nonna. I am a very proud Nan :) I am now also a grandma to twin girls, born in April 2016 :) Immie and AJ

I started to diet when my scales broke because I weighed too much. That was around the 280lb mark.

2016, February: Starting over third time around - not making promises to myself or other people... just trying to succeed and taking everything one day at a time :)

My Goals:
My main goal is to be so in control of my diet and health, that I am able to come off all my meds for diabetes...
I yearn to fit back into my leather jacket so I can ride pillion with my darling Hubby :)
I want to go outside and not think that people are looking at me because I'm so fat and ugly.
To run around with my grandchildren would be amazing!


My Program:
I exercise every day - without fail. And I am trying to eat properly and healthily.

I used to exercise for at least one hour every day, but because of my rheumatoid arthritis, I had to start reducing the amount of exercise I did - I don't want to rely on exercise for weight loss, but rather eat well and stay active.




Personal Information:
I'm a stay-at-home mum of four, happily married to a wonderful man. I have 4 grandkids - the eldest call me 'Nonna'.
My friends call me 'Charley' or 'Sheleen'... and sometimes 'oi!'
Now in my 40's - I would love to look like I'm still in my twenties (only in my dreams). *lol*


Other Information:
I love christmas movies and reading ghost stories and thrillers. Love anything to do with fitness, dieting, food, DIY and gardening on the television... and very loud music :)
Hampshire strawberries and Italian baby plum tomatoes are probably the two foods I couldn't live without... but pizza and chocolate come pretty darn close *lol*

    You get on those scales LOUD AND PROUD on Monday honey!

    You are NOT a failure.

    Even when the scale is mean to us, we have learned new things about ourselves. You be PROUD of that.

    Monday will come. You will step on that scale. And whatever it says is NOT the total measure of your worth. It just offers you information that is important for your growth.

    And isn't that worth celebrating?

    Hi - thanks for your comments on the cupcakes. I am not a buttercream fan either - those are cream cheese icing! We are totally addicted to Dance Mom's. I have all the episodes for all the seasons. I really like seasons 1 and 2 when the kids were so little!
