Sick of Being Fat

I'm 30 year old special ed teacher and I realized that I'm 60 pounds overweight. I'm sick of being fat and have decided to do something about it.

I originally lost 40 pounds with the help of SparkPeople. After losing my mom in Nov. 2009 to cancer, I gained back all of it, plus some. I'm officially back in healthy-action mode. No more wallowing alone with a a bag of chips. Healthy is the new motto from here on out.

My Goals:
I decided I needed to lose weight when I got out of breath walking up the stairs to my bedroom. My goal is to reclaim my college weight.

My Program:
I try to stay within my calorie range, walk at least 45 minutes most days of the week and do some strength-training at least three days per week.

Welcome to Team Turkey!! It's great to have you! I'm Tricia...one of the team captains. We're going to have a lot of fun in the next 8 weeks...and hopefully we'll win a challenge or two!! Be sure to post your starting weight, and introduce yourself!
