Ok, here we go again! Hi everyone, I'm Sheena, a 27 year old newlywed as of Febraury 2011 and 2nd grade teacher.
I have struggled with my weight every since I graduated high school. In high school I swam competitively so I could eat whatever I wanted and swim it off at the pool. When I graduated I moved out with my boyfriend at the time and slowly but steadily gained about 60 pounds. I reached my heaviest at 210 lbs. after we broke up in 2004. In 2006 I resolved to lose the weight and after a year and a half of working out and eating smart I got back down to 142 lbs!
Today I am back up in the 170's and still having a hard time with binge eating, eating badly on the weekends and just generally having a healthy mindset when it comes to food. Although I do workout pretty consistently each week about 3-5 times at the gym. I would like to get down to 150-145 by August!
I am also doing the Danskin triathalon in August with my mom, grandma, friend and all of my aunts. I have never done one before so training for it will be new, exciting and hard!
My husband and I are also going to be trying to start a family soon and I'd love to be in great shape for any future pregnancies.

My goals is to firm up my body. I am going to try ot workout at least 4-5 days a week. I also want to get into a habit of not eating out so much on the weekends and to learn to have a healthy, balanced relationship with food instead of loathing and fearing it.
I am counting the calories that I am consuming. I am trying to stay between 1200 and 1500 calories a day. I also go to the gym each morning before work. I aim to do 30 min of cardio 4-5 times per week and 3 20 min strength training session per week. No fast food and no snaking late at night! However, I am allowing myself some "cheat" days every once in awhile, cause every one needs a splurge sometimes!
I am 27 years old and I work as a 2nd grade teacher. And I have a wonderful, supportive husband named Jake. We live with our two dogs Kooper and Max. :)
I love horror movies, indie films and documentaries. I think of myself as sarcastic and sensitive. I am very close with my family. I love love love pasta, baked goods and pizza, my downfalls! Also, I love my job as a teacher!

I have our reception site booked... we even did our food tasting with them and everything. It was hard for us to find a reception site because with such a large wedding, there is very limited spaces available that can hold us. We had an option of 5 in the city we live in (which is a fairly large city so I was surprised there were so little options) and 3 of them were already booked for our date! So, we had two left and one we were NOT impressed with, luckily the other (the one we chose) is PERFECT for us. My colors are black and silver and it will be formal.
I am making my centerpieces, which I think I might end up regretting once I'm in the thick of it haha. I am collecting wine and liquor bottles of different shapes and sizes. Then I am going to spray paint some silver, glue and roll some in silver glitter and modge podge some in different types of silver paper. Then I am going to put black taper candles in the tops and turn them into candle holders. I'll put 3 different texture bottles on each table and probably put little black votives around them! My table cloths and chairs will be covered in black and the chairs will have a silver sash around them. So, I have a lot figured out I guess haha.
But yes, I'm feeling you on the arms thing. When I put my wedding dress on, I was like "ooook gotta work these babies out!"... I don't want to feel self conscious at ALL at my wedding, I want to know I look beautiful! My fiance is an athlete so he's going to start me (actually today) on some work out schedule 3 days a week. He scares me haha, he's going to kill me! And I have a Wii Fit for my off days to do yoga and aerobics on. I'll let you know what he has me doing. Plus, I'm only eating between 1100 and 1200 calories per day. God help me! haha

Hey girl! Sorry I haven't written back... I was out of town for a while! I have pretty much the same goals as you. I want to be around 115 by the time of my wedding and be MUCH more toned, especially my arms (like you). I am quite short, that's why I'd like to weigh so little, I'm only 5 foot! I agree, it will be nice to have someone in the same time frame! We've got PLENTY of time to accomplish our goals!
Wedding planning is going well, we are having a very large wedding (around 450 ppl) so it's been a little stressful but we have the basics down. We met with the tenative DJ this weekend so we're excited but it's definitely hard work! I got my dress already which I'm very excited about. How have your wedding plans been going?

Good luck on the wedding plans! My friend who just got married decided to get married in the Bahamas and have the wedding coordinator take care of everything because she thought it would be easier. She found it still took a lot of work! LOL
