Hypothyroidism, PCOS, and sleep apnea will not control me.

The last several years has been a medical roller coaster ride, but I finally have all pieces to the puzzle. It boils down to me having POCS and Thyroiditis with high antibodies indicating I have Hashimotos. Now the word for me to learn is self-discipline. When I exercise, I feel great and when I eat like I am supposed to, I can drop weight on my own without my metformin. I saw a difference in my weight after I was prescribed armour which helped me lose 45 pounds all together. I changed thyroid medicines briefly which is about the time I started gaining again, gaining back 20 of the 45 lbs I had lost. I am back on armour but have seen no help in my weight loss this go around. So I will go back to less white carbs and trying to exercise daily and see if that helps. So my goal is to continue to learn healthy eating habits and being more consistent with my exercise.

Just dropped by to say - Hi. and welcome you to “Team ~INDYGIRL” emoticon
We aim to create a friendly, and supportive environment in SparkPeople land!! - Please feel free to jump in and join in the message boards. It has been proved that people who contribute regularly to message boards and blog regularly lose more weight, more easily than those who don’t, so come on in.
It is a great place to be and you will find lots of friends, and ideas to help and support you at all stages on your journey, so please don’t ever be afraid to ask questions. Even if it seems a small thing it is important to you – and someone will have the answer, or will have been there.
I hope you succeed in all the goals you set
Please leave your Sparkmail on for this team as ~Indygirl sends out a new challenge each week
Enjoy the journey
