Me and Duke!

This is my "goal" picture. I was 20, and about 155 pounds here.

This is me at my heaviest (201) in December 2006 at my graduation party.

Thanks for the welcome you crazy nut (sorry, but you just seem like the kinda gal I can say that to). My family is going to Disney this summer. can't wait to see the place. It has been thirty years since I was there last.

I saw your commentary about Cuddles on the Herding Dog forum., and thought I would drop by to see what kind of dog Cuddles is. I have never heard of a super dingo before and now am on my way to look it up. While here I noticed you are doing great with the weight loss. Way to go! Take care and keep up the good work!

Shea, thank you SO MUCH for all your words of kindess and support!!! I'm sorry I've not written. I could be negative, but let's be positive and say I'm in the middle of a "healing opportunity" (in other words, life has been a bit rough lately).

I just wanted to say hello, but I LOVE all this pirate talk!!! For many years I lived on a boat and, with several of my other friends, we sported pirate flags. When I went on the Disney Cruise to The Bahamas, I really enjoyed going to the Pirate Museum in Nassau, and got a couple really awesome pirate books. Before the change, my favorite ride was Pirates, of course, and my drink of choice? Nothing other than "yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!" Seriously, I'd rather have rum than anything else. (Well, a little Godiva Liquer, that's something else, especially if you mix it half and half with Amaretto, on the rocks. But my usual, rum, no question.)

Also, where I used to live they had an old schooner in the Maritime Museum and a group of us would get together once a month to sing old sea chanteys. It was SO FUN, and the acoustics were AMAZING!!!

I loved reading other comments as it reminded me of this, and so many other joyous things I'd forgotten, parts of my life I've loved.
