It just takes a spark to set a forest fire...Mine was when the Dr told me I was a walking heart-attack or stroke waiting to happen! This site and other motivators in my life helped me achieve a goal of 50 lbs off for good!

Many yrs ago I was put on medicine which caused me to gain weight (25-30 lbs) and did not work seriously on losing it until last year. Now, having surpassed the goal of losing that weight, I'm pumped and ready to tackle greater goals. If you think getting healthier is as easy as joining a website, well, think again! You are still in control of your decisions and your lifestyle. What this website CAN do is be a motivator and get a lot of useful information into your hands. How much you use it is up to you!

I sit at my office desk an average of 8hrs a day while I update my website, write articles and books, track multiple advertising sites and social web venues, edit speeches and book flights, hotels and arrange my speaking tours. I have to discipline myself to take breaks, do chores and honey-do lists, help my parents as they age (sorry mom and dad) and run here and there preparing for my next flight to who-knows-where? It became quite apparent to me in 2010 that if I didn't make great health #1 on my list, it wouldn't happen.

Now, I have a Total Gym XL that I use for full body workouts, some free weights (just 8 lbs), a trampoline for indoor jogging when it's just too cold or snowy, and a Wii Fit Plus to make things fun! *As of 2012 I have added a punching bag for boxing workouts and now it's getting CAH_RAZY up in here!!!!* haha

*Starting June 06, 2011 I am doing P90X Lean with my wife for the whole 3 months it requires to do it, then I will most likely start a heavier P90X program for building mean muscle definition and get really ripped!*
I did 2 months and learned so much I didn't need to finish the program to lose weight *I LOST 18 lbs after stopping the program!!! P90X and Tony Horton taught me valuable lessons that I will refer to again and again! I also like listening to the trainers from Biggest Loser!
