Sharsha's Place
Sharsha has been a "member" for several years, right now I weigh more than when a friend first introduced me to "Sparks". But the same as when I was last here, over a year ago. I have to pull some weight off, and it will have to be via food intake (or lack of) - very limited for exercise - osteoarthritis (lumbar – severe / cervical – moderate). Recovering from 2 lumbar surgeries in 2011. I can not stay on my feet for more than 15+ minutes - 6 on the treadmill. I eat therefore I am. ...
Sharsha has been a "member" for several years, right now I weigh more than when a friend first introduced me to "Sparks". But the same as when I was last here, over a year ago. I have to pull some weight off, and it will have to be via food intake (or lack of) - very limited for exercise - osteoarthritis (lumbar – severe / cervical – moderate). Recovering from 2 lumbar surgeries in 2011. I can not stay on my feet for more than 15+ minutes - 6 on the treadmill. I eat therefore I am. That about covers it. Emotional eater – most all emotions qualifies to eat, especially stress, and I have a lot of that in my life. I am over 60 with 60+ to lose. Just retireed from the last medical leave. Christian woman, have been very active in the past – now it is more attending. Never a mother but loving being a grandmother (Sharsha) to 3 joys of my life, girls now 6 and a boy 4. Current GOAL - lose 20 pounds by the end of the year.

My Goals:
Short term - lose 20 lbs by the end of the year. Stay with fitness program to help lungs and heart.
My Program:
Using the South Beach Diet as a base - just trying to decrease the amount of food I eat, and eat healthy foods. Exercise is now a necessity - must do either treadmill or water program daily.
