Thanks for the rose!! It hasn't been the best day for calories, but I'm trying not to let it get the better of me!

Just dropping in to say hi and keep up the good work! Exercise is a hard habit to get into, but with some determination it will be come a habit we will enjoy. I went for a walk in the snow and sunshine with my doggie today and the warm weather and sparkling snow was so beautiful that I felt it was a shame to have to head home.

Another thing I'm doing to keep myself motivated is not allowing myself to read (bookworm that I am) until I've done at least 10 minutes of exercise.

Way to go getting your 30 minutes in for the Heart month challenge team! I work night shifts too and I go the gym after getting out of work too. I know that I won't get up early to head to the gym before work.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. It is hard to get over the chronic pain hurdle isn't it? But of course if we can shed this weight, we will most likely have less chronic pain!
Let's just keep on keepin' on... emoticon emoticon

Thanks for stopping by my blog to comment. I was very lucky to have a great RN preceptor, and the rest of the ladies on the unit (RNs, RN students, LPNs, LPN students, NAs, etc) were fantastic. Only one RN was grumpy, but she got "stuck" with me one day when my preceptor was sick and I don't think she was happy about having a student. Oh well, we got through it.

I wish I had a 2nd week of practicum. I was just starting to get comfortable with the IVs. I have already been checking out people's veins (at the grocery store, etc) but I never comment because that would just be weird. lol

I did tell a couple of my patients that they had beautiful, juicy veins. Most laughed, one thought I was a Twilight vampire fan and I made a really cute guy blush! It was so much fun! emoticon
