Well, here I am again. I have gained back almost everything I had lost, so now I need to start again.

There has been one problem after another (as I'm sure most everyone has experienced) starting in October of 2008. My husband has been in and out of the hospital and emergency room. The majority of our year has been spent in doctor's offices, hospital, ER, and labs for tests.

I think we have finally got most of the issues resolved for him and now I need to arrange ...
Well, here I am again. I have gained back almost everything I had lost, so now I need to start again.

There has been one problem after another (as I'm sure most everyone has experienced) starting in October of 2008. My husband has been in and out of the hospital and emergency room. The majority of our year has been spent in doctor's offices, hospital, ER, and labs for tests.

I think we have finally got most of the issues resolved for him and now I need to arrange for my knees to be done. I'm very nervous about that because there is a chance of blood loss and I will NOT accept blood transfusions and also because I have difficulty coming out of anesthesia. But it must be done so I had better get my act together and muster up my courage. Once that is finally done and healed I should b e able to walk away some of this excess poundage.

Weigh 150 by Dec. 2011
Have knee surgery to
lessen pain so I can start walking.
Get down to 150 by however long it takes.
Feel and be healthier.
No plus size clothing.
Look better/feel good about myself.

My Program:
Eat the right foods in the right amounts and stay within my calorie range.
Try to get at least some exercise each day.
Drink plenty of water.
Keep a positive attitude.

My name is Sharon and I live in PA. I am 65 years old, married to the same man for 45 years (in June of 2009), have 3 grown children, 2 beautiful daughters-in-law, and 2 wonderful grandchildren, Zachary (12) and his sister Ericka (4) and another granddaughter, Rylei (will be 1 in Feb).

Hi, Sharon. Here I am starting SP over in 2014. Dug out my Vita Mix and doing one smoothie a day to replace one of my meals. Usually breakfast or lunch. I find I have more energy. Vita Mix was expensive but well worth the money.
I'm going to take it slow. Set 1 goal and add another goal each month.
January goal is to lose 1 lb a week. Maybe if I do a smaller goal and reach it I'll be more motivated. Added goal for Feb is to post on the team page at least 4 days a week.
Let's make 2014 the year we finally get our mind set changed for good.
