Ready to Get Serious
Winter 5% Challenge Commitment - I will exercise daily for a minimum of 15 minutes each day of the challenge. At least 2 days each week will be strength training. I will continue to follow a modified carb/healthy fats & lean protein eating plan. I will record my daily exercise and Living the Good Life Points, and on Saturdays I will weigh in and record it. I will check in with my team daily and leave a comment on the Discussion Board. (07/05/10) Ok, time for an update. Made my first mini/major goal on 06/12/10 marking my first 50 lbs loss. My next mini/major is getting below 200 lbs, so that would need to be getting another 25 lbs gone. My mini goals are to lose at least 8 lbs a month during the next three months, making my mini/major goal set for 10/10/10. So, time to get started! (01/29/10) Signed up on SP more than two years ago, but wasn't ready to get serious. The time is now and I'm ready to get going. I look forward to meeting some great people here on the same journey or completing their journey. Let's go!!!! My Goals:
I want to be healthier and not tire so easily. Also it will be nice to go to an amusement part with kids and grandkids and not have to worry if I'm too big for the ride. First mini-major goal achieved 06/12/10 50 lbs GONE!
My Program:
Watch the calories and fat grams and get in plenty of water. Add to that getting my body moving and I'm hoping for that to be the ultimate recipe.
Personal Information:
Live in Cookeville, TN and would enjoy getting to know any other SP's close by. Have a wonderful husband, six children and five grandchildren.
Other Information:
