Hi Sharilynn468, You can do it-succeed! I'm a Type II Diabetic and I've started back walking 3 days ago. Originally, I was weighing around 242 lbs (238 something the other day), but I got on the scale this morning and weighed in at 236.8 lbs. I feel encouraged; the important factor is that we must 'move'. I have a park across the street, so I've been doing 4 laps a day (last 3 days), which is equivalent to one mile. It's helping.
