I have been on sparkpeople for over 2 years now, but other than periodically tracking food and fitness I have not really been involved in the program. I thought I could do it on my own, but realize now that I need to find some buddy's to help me stay motivated. So I'm back on SparkPeople, looking for a buddy to help walk the path with me.

Thanks so much! I cannot lie. I slip up ALL the time and I know this is going to be a long process for me, but I KNOW that it is worth it, no matter how many times we fall. Getting frustrated in this and then feeling like you have lost your ground and focus can get you pretty depressed pretty quickly. And it effects every aspect of our lives: our attitude, our energy, our confidence, our relationships. I am just trying (with help from my Spark buds) to just keep getting up quicker and quicker. One week, I can deal with. A month, six months, I just can't. I will fall again. I am not naive in thinking that I am going to be perfect now and reach that goal without any issues at all. I know that isn't the case. But I will get there eventually!!!

So give yourself some grace. Don't even think about last week. Make some fresh new goals, get your focus and motivation back, and I know that you will be unstoppable!

Good luck :-)
