Another Step...

Things have changed, as they always do. I am now happily married to the LOVE of my life. I have my own small business; painting houses and finishing woodwork. And I now have a daughter who is a senior in high school! I have reunited with old friends (sooo wonderful!) and made lots of new ones. I thank God every single day for blessing my life. I still struggle with my weight. Not so much the number, but how I feel about it. I am ready to see it change, for the BETTER. LOL. I've been given this ...

I still struggle with my weight. Not so much the number, but how I feel about it. I am ready to see it change, for the BETTER. LOL. I've been given this life and this body. I am overall a healthy person, so I need to be grateful and work at making it not just a shell of who I am, but a temple! I really have no excuse, no reason to NOT make these improvements...and I know I have it in me, I've almost been there before! :) So, here is to another step in the right direction.

My Goals:
My goal is to still be healthy. One day, I will be under that 200 mark. Even if it takes me another year to get there, I can see it!

My Program:
Working out at least 5 days a week, with a minimum of 30 minutes a day. Walking, stationary bike, weights, ball and core workouts, as well as yoga once a week. I have a 'playlist' in my iPod.. and the ONLY time I can listen to those songs...is when I'm working out. :)

My name is Shannon, I have three beautiful daughters who keep my life very busy. I work full time and am also working towards my Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. :)

Wow...a visit from you! Sakes alive, when reading your message~and treasuring it, the thought that we are "in life," friends, and have been for years~not just online friends, who may or may not ever meet....and we NEVER SEE EACH OTHER!!! LOL What is wrong with this picture????? giggling softly....Good gravy you are even in town now, and I haven't a clue WHERE! General idea from your sweet dolly who calls me Teddy Bear, but not a physical address. We'll get to that, eventually. ha~wink.

I think of you often~so very often. Miss you so very much and dearly thank you for your every thought and prayer. Saw your Mom just recently, Loved exchanging a few hugs, and having a brief heart to heart in Wal-Mart of all places. We were both being a little Fruity(meaning shopping for fruit). ha
She is truly one in a million Shannon~just like YOU~awwww and your girls too~ emoticon emoticon emoticon who are.... emoticon emoticon growing up alllllll too fast!!!!

As you know, I am sure~Dalton is graduating in May, and Lela will be starting HIGHSCHOOL! emoticon I have literally lost a year of my life, come June. Meaning I remember very little about it, and still when writing a check~ I have no clue of the month, the date, or the year. Have to be told every darn time~even if writing more than one check in a day. Short term memory just flat GONE, LIKE THE PAST YEAR. It may or may not come back~this long post head trauma~only time will tell. Just grateful it isnt my long term memory!!!

Wow I miss you so very much. Didnt even consider bothering you with book keeping this year, as I only worked about three months out of last year, not even enough to make a difference. Still reported it, but didn't bother with piddley reciepts and the full break down emoticon Miss life itself more than ever. People, the workout of cleaning nonstop...just all that used to be. Anyhoo~am so very glad you stopped by for a friendly spark visit. Don't ya loveee how my spark page is always neat and clean??? lol emoticon

I exercised yesterday before bed! Yay! I didn't get to add in a workout today but that's okay. I have strength in the morning. I'm chosing some lower impact workouts this week and see how it goes. It went great yesterday and I made sure not to skimp on stretches.

I only hate half the chinese that someone brought me. I left my water bottle at home though. :(

I stopped tracking my food intake, had a few mini-binges, and I stopped exercising. I haven't felt like exercising in part because of the weather and my knees/ankles/back have been hurting. Now, my back is probably just sore from work but I'm sure the knees/ankles is because of my workout shoes. I think that means I need to start doing some of my barefoot workouts and see if I feel better after that.

My work drama has been sucking the life force out of me. I've made a resolution to fix parts of it. On Monday, I'm going to talk to my supervisor about certain issues that's really worrying me that I'll lose my job over (totally falsified information). I also bought a notebook to write about everything that happens at work to get it outside of me instead of stewing inside. I also need to go see my best friend and talk to her about the issues. Evidently for my best friend and I, January has sucked.

On the good hand, I went to Sam's last weekend and bough 3 lbs of carrots, 4 lbs of broccoli and 5 lbs of chicken. We're already 2/3 out of carrots and broccolli. We finished the chicken today.
