Keep on keepin' on.....

I've been a big girl most of my adult life. I do not know (or remember) what it is like to be fit & trim.
The years of carrying so much weight for so long are finally taking their toll. At my age, weight & genetic dispositon...eating healthy & excercising need to become A WAY OF LIFE. There's a lot of life left & I want to live it healthy & fully.

I'm seriously sick of this nonesense. I've been up & down so many times, I'm like a teeter-totter! And, in the meantime, I ain't gettin' any younger.
Since I lose weight at a maimed turtle's pace, I set a non-weight based goal to complete my 1st 5K; The UT Spring Dirty Dash, 6-2-12. *GOAL MET*
The Bear Lake Monster Run (10K walk for me) on 9-1-12 is next for non-weight based goals. *GOAL MET*
I'm debating walking a marathon (Minnetonka Marathon) Labor Day weekend 2013 to reach my final goal weight by my wedding, 9-21-13.

My Program:
I'm fond of Beachbody workouts,
LesMills COMBAT, ZUMBA & walking.

I'm a 44 year-old "Ma/Me-Maw" trying to keep up with life & all that it entails. I live in beautiful Northern Utah with my honey & work as an office assistant at a commercial HVAC company. I am also attempting Coaching (PHAT GURL Fitness) at Team Beachbody.com, hoping that my particular point of view (fat but fit...FATHLETE) can possibly help others.
