Here Comes Shanna!

Hi All! I'm Shanna, a diabetic with high blood pressure and high chlorestol (for now). I plan to lose at least 100 pounds over the next two years by: decreasing my calorie intake, exercising daily and weight loss scraggy.

My overall goal is to leave a long and healthy life. My plan is to change my life style. Already, I've STOPPED! drinking sodas for the past two weeks and I plan to keep this up:)

Hi Shanna!! emoticon Thanks for your comments on my first ever blog last week about a night emoticon person becoming a morning person. emoticon I'm glad to hear that you went to the gym even though your husband did not go with you! That's dedication! emoticon That's funny that you got your exercise walking to and from the gym and didn't actually exercise at the gym! hehe emoticon You are brave to walk in the dark, maybe I should drive to the gym with or without my husband. We have not done so well this week because of staying up too late the night before--that's the hardest part, going to bed early. emoticon We are allowing each other to make excuses.

Thanks for adding me as a friend!! I'm honored to be your first comment!! LOL..Congrats on deciding to get healthy! I'm on week 3 of no soda and I had one last night for the first time. I couldn't believe how gross it tasted. I threw it away after a few sips!!
