I would like to lose weight to become a healthier person in the long run. Having more muscle mass and becoming a leaner person is a dream that i am trying dang hard to become a reality. i don't want to become a statistic of a generation that dies earlier than their parents. I want to live a long and full life. I want to have a body that can take care of the younger generations when the time comes. That is my goal.
-Little to no processed foods -portion control -water, water, water! -run/walk 3x per week -strength training in between
Hey there! Oh man, things are CRAZY with me! Lots has been going on with work and family....seems like things are never going to calm down! :( I'm trying to keep my head up and power through it all. I haven't been working out or eating that great and it's really starting to get to me again! I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and soon I will begin taking some medication to help with the symptoms of it. One of the meds I will take is for my thyroid so hopefully that will help me with my weight loss. Hypothyroidism runs in my family and I'm pretty sure that's a huge reason why it's so hard for me to drop the pounds. How are YOU? I apologize for not being the greatest accountability buddy. Hope everything is going great!
How are you? I hope all is going well. I've been in the same boat as you...no motivation to eat good or exercise. Things have been pretty stressful around here so the last thing I've been worrying about is food and working out. :(
I did go grocery shopping tonight though and I bought only fruits, veggies, and chicken. And some unsweetened almond milk and whey protein powder for breakfast.
You were doing such a great job and you can continue it! Don't forget how good it felt to be healthy and drop those pounds! That's what I've been reminding myself of today. Let's get back to it and kick some butt!
I'm into lots of different music but Alkaline Trio is my fave. My iPod has a very eclectic mix of music. What about you? How is everything going with exercise and eating? I'm at a stand still right now but I'm feeling that push to get back on track!
i went to see alkaline trio! it was nice to get away for a couple of days and see them but i'm glad to be home so i can get back into a routine again. the friend i was staying with is really into low carb eating and exercising so i got a lot of great suggestions for things to try for myself.
