One Step at a Time

Hi, I'm just a simple South Jersey girl currently living away at college. I am not overweight, nor is my health in danger, but I want to tone up and feel stronger. I basically want to be the best I can be.

I am a firm believer that attitude is everything-and impacts every aspect of one's life greatly. Therefore, I am going to work hard to achieve my goals- no pills, fasting, crazy dieting-just good old healthy choices and exercise.

I love to power walk, jump rope, and strength train. Soccer is amazing, THE BEST SPORT EVER, and always will be, to me anyway.

I am 100% Italian and love to eat Italian food and help cook as well :)

I am looking for some support, which will gladly be returned. I think a few good words of encouragement are powerful.

My Goals:
Jump rope for 10 minutes straight.

Drink 8 glasses of water.

Do more cardio (4-6 days a week)

My Program:
I have always been a fairly decent eater. However, you can never eat too many fruits/veggies and I am trying to drink more water (8 cups like Sparkpeople recommends) and I am also trying to have more variety in exercising so I will not become bored or discouraged. I have been lifting weights. For cardio, in particular, instead of running like I usually would, I have been beginning jump rope and walking more.

Other Information:
I love to read, watch movies, play video games and watch tv!
