Real food and fitness do not come in a box.
I'm 49 years old and up until about 5 or 6 years ago, I fought with my weight most of my life. I've been a pretty healthy eater overall for quite some time. Although I was eating what I considered pretty healthy, I knew there was a lot of room for improvement. I'm 49 years old and up until about 5 or 6 years ago, I fought with my weight most of my life. I've been a pretty healthy eater overall for quite some time. Although I was eating what I considered pretty healthy, I knew there was a lot of room for improvement. I started by avoiding highly processed food, then progressed to cutting out wheat, then dairy and finally going full on primal for my eating. I've only been doing this since Feb. 10, 2013, but I'm eating so much better and I feel really good. I haven't really had a problem switching over, maybe because I did it incremental steps. I'm a runner and run in Luna Sandals. As far as footwear for work and casual use, I only wear zero drop shoes, Vivobarefoot, Softstar shoes, Luna, Unshoes and Xero Shoes. I'm married with 2 grown kids and 3 grandchildren.
