GO ARMY!!!!!!!!!! HOOAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its time to start again! How many times have I said that? Once? Twice? 1/2 a dozen? Well, this time, I have a plan and I plan to use it.
I lost both my parents at young ages (my mom was 56 and my dad was 63). I am getting close to 40 and getting scared. Mommy died from complications to diabetes in 1996 and daddy died from brain cancer (found only after he had a stroke), in 2009.

I have fought battles with myself, God and with what society deems beautiful for long enough. I will no longer hold it over my head that I made mistakes, I did and now its time to move on. I will no longer blame God for what has happened in my life (most it was my choice not his), I will lean on and trust God with my life. I will no longer let society dictate what is beautiful, I am married and my husband believes I am beautiful and worthy of love and devotion as does God and thats what matters.
I am in a fight for my life physically and spiritually and I WILL win this battle!!!!!!
In the process I hope to teach my husband and my son how to eat properly and how to exercise properly and how to handle life properly (that one especially for my son).
May God rain his blessings down on all everyday.

Hi! I just had to stop by your page and look you up after seeing you comment on the holiday breakast suggestions. Your breakfast sounded yummy with your omelet suggestion. I love asparagus too. Yum! Now with being at your page, I saw where you had lost your parents pretty young too. I did too and that really hurts, doesn't it?! My Mom was 63 and died from diabetic complications. My Dad was 67 and died from ALS, after having a tremendously healthy body and started going downhill when Mom was so sick and died. Stress has alot to do with how our health becomes I think. My sister (only sibling) died at age 54 from diabetic complications. She didn't like Dr's because she was scared and didn't take care of herself then either! After she died is when I really got serious. I've lost 67# and feel like I'm losing my motivation with all the Christmas cookies around. Errrr! I will get a handle on this! I know I will and I can! I have to tell you too that I was still in my 30's when my dear Mama and Daddy died. So I thought I could let you know all this and add you too because of it all. Have a good life now with your family that you have now and I will too and we'll both get healthy in the meantime. Good luck to you!

Hugs, Karen
