Staying Motivated

Hi, My name is Doug. I originally started this page to track what I was doing to share it with a military class I am attending (WOCS). I am now attending the next resident course (WOBC) and am back to tracking my progress regularly.

I have started to find all the help that this site offers and have set more ambitious (still obtainable) goals for myself. I have changed those goals to reflect my current lifestyle.

I am hoping to lose some weight and build up some muscles. I am focusing on losing fat in my stomach and increasing lean muscle mass in my Biceps and Triceps. I will also need to work on my chicken legs, but that's not a big deal right now.

My Goals:
Short-term: Max any single event in the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT).
Mid-term: 100 pushups in 2 minutes, 100 situps in 2 minutes and 2 miles in 13:13 or less.
Long-term: 25 pullups, and 3 miles in 20 minutes.
Lose fat and gain lean muscle in the process.

My Program:
Short workouts 1-4 times per day. longer workouts 3-6 times per week. Eating a good combination of food at each meal.

Currently living 30 mins west of Minneapolis, MN
