A good place for me to start, was by using the food tracker. You don't have to eat what they suggest. you can put your actual food in that you ate for the day. After a few days of doing that and watching my calories, I really started thinking before I put food in my mouth...do I really want to see what this is going to do to my calorie total at the end of the day?!!? It actually helped!
Posting on the team boards helps too, because you start to build relationships with other people who want to lose weight just like you do! We post a "good morning" thread every day. Just pop in and say hi on that, and start to get to know people. You can also go to the place on the team page that says something like, "introduce yourself." Start a new thread and just say hi and tell us a little about you. You'll be a pro at this before you know it!!! 2981 days ago
