The biggest loser is a huge motivation. If they are working hard, I need to push myself too.

I hope to be able to run a whole mile without stopping.

Hello Everyone!

First thanks for visiting my spark page. I'm a 26 year old returning student and I now have 1 year left to go. I've always been overweight and have tried to diet, but it never seemed to work. (always on a yo-yo diet which ended in gaining 10 more pounds).

Last year was a huge step for me. I lost 25lbs! I've never done that. In the past I only knew how to gain. I've realized that I have to pay attention and respect what my body is always trying to tell me.

I'm now back to my original weight since high school(cause I gained about 25 the year before). I don't plan on stopping here. I have about 50lbs more to go, but I'll take baby steps along the way to keep it of longer. I hope to at least be close to this goal by the end of the year for graduation and I hope to start up a job and family soon after that.

My plan: To exercise at least 3 times a day on cardio. When I can fit it in I'll do strength training as well. I'll weigh myself once a week (twice at most) and try my best to remain positive and focused every day in order to become a better healthier person inside and out.

My Goals:
To eventually weight 150lbs!

Keep counting calories (I get off track sometimes).

I want to be strong and healthy with less back problems.

To be in physical shape to go on adventures while traveling (hiking, rockclimbin, horseback riding, etc..)

To feel great in a two piece bathing suit and show it off.

To have a better attitude of life and exercise!

My Program:
I eat between 1200 - 1500 calories.

I have less carbs and if so more in the morning.

Have at least 8 glasses of water.

Try to exercise at least 3X a week.

I'm trying to include more strenth training to get some muscle.

Personal Information:
I'm a 25 year old returning student who needs to lose about 50lbs. I'm from Maryland and can't wait to go traveling.

Other Information:
I love the biggest loser shows. I wish they had DVD sets. They help me keep motivated while running on the treadmill. I see someone else sweating and crying I know I can push myself more!

    jillian is actually very nice in her workout videos! lol its hard to imagine...
    tuesdays i thinka re my best days.,..i used to sit and watch biggest loser with a HUGE plate of pasta or ice cream i dont...

    i know it'll pay off...but its hard not to expect huge numbers...its hard to be patient. we can certainly both do it! i knwo once i get to 185 ill probably want to go lower since people say i should be at less than taking it one lb at a time...
