I am tired of being heavy and letting my weight keep me from doing the things I love. I have been struggling with my weight since I was 23, I am tired of struggling and want to get my life back. I am a uterine cancer survivor and that right there should be the motivation I need to do this, but I still need help staying focused and motivated and on track. I am hoping to make lots of life long friends here as we begin on this journey of better health together. I am self employed. I make Bath & Body products. I also decorate cakes and while recovering from my cancer surgery I started making jewelery as I couldn't lift for 8 weeks. I love making jewelry it relaxes me. I also do quite a bit of graphic design work including, website and logo design. I spend at least 40+ hours a week on the computer. So sparkpeople seems like a great fit for me. I am DONE........ DONE being embarrassed to go out DONE being unhealthy DONE being ashamed of my size DONE being the FAT GIRL!!! "Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going." My Goals:
Exercise 3-5 times a week Positive affirmations daily. 10lbs-met 4/17/08 15lbs- met 6/11/08 25lbs- met 7/8/08 50lbs- met 3/27/09 75lbs- 100lbs- 125lbs- 150lbs- 175lbs- 183lbs- Baby steps 5% at a time. 306- MET 6-7-08 291- MET 7/23/08 276- MET 12/15/08 260- 244- 227- 211- 195- 179- 162- 146- Final Goal 140- Be able to take my nephews on carnival rides. No be embarrassed when flying.
My Program:
Drink at least 12 glasses of water daily - Cardio for 30-60 min 3-5 times a week (water aerobics, elliptical, walking) - Strength training for 30 minutes 3-5 times a week. - Record what I eat on a daily basis. (1500 - 1700 calories a day) - Eat breakfast everyday and healthy snacks between meals to regulate my metabolism. - take my vitamins and omegas every day.

I am the owner of Foster's Creations www.fosterscreations.us In addition to being self employed I love 3D graphics and am getting quite good at making clothing textures for Poser models. I am also slowly teaching myself Adobe Illustrator.
