4/22/09 UPDATE......
Well I am officially 96.4lbs away from 150lbs GONE for good and my reward of VEGAS for my 40th B-Day.

My friend Courtney posted a list on her page of small success and I thought it was a good idea so am posting my list here....

Small Successes so far....
1. Done with 33 Inches
2. Done with 55.4 lbs.
3. Gone from size 30/32 to 18/20 in Pants and 22/24 in ...

I am ready to make a change in my life and get my weight under control and start loving myself again. I am tired of being heavy and letting my weight keep me from doing the things I love.

I have been struggling with my weight since I was 23, I am tired of struggling and want to get my life back. I am a uterine cancer survivor and that right there should be the motivation I need to do this, but I still need help staying focused and motivated and on track. I am hoping to make lots of life long friends here as we begin on this journey of better health together.

I am self employed. I make Bath & Body products. I also decorate cakes and while recovering from my cancer surgery I started making jewelery as I couldn't lift for 8 weeks. I love making jewelry it relaxes me.
I also do quite a bit of graphic design work including, website and logo design. I spend at least 40+ hours a week on the computer. So sparkpeople seems like a great fit for me.

I am DONE........
DONE being embarrassed to go out
DONE being unhealthy
DONE being ashamed of my size
DONE being the FAT GIRL!!!

My Program:
Drink at least 12 glasses of water daily

- Cardio for 30-60 min 3-5 times a week (water aerobics, elliptical, walking)

- Strength training for 30 minutes 3-5 times a week.

- Record what I eat on a daily basis. (1500 - 1700 calories a day)

- Eat breakfast everyday and healthy snacks between meals to regulate my metabolism.

- take my vitamins and omegas every day.

In addition to being self employed I love 3D graphics and am getting quite good at making clothing textures for Poser models. I am also slowly teaching myself Adobe Illustrator.

WOW not having any power must be hard. We have had trouble around here with water. They are changing the pipes in the roads and you never know how much you depend on something until it is gone. Good luck at your craft fair. I used to do those all the time. I sold Pampered Chef and tried to get my name out there so I did fairs. Have fun!!! Nothing much going on here I just don't feel like working out this week. Not sure why since last week I did so well with it. Got in 280 so far but I have tons of running around to do today including signing up for the gym. Okay talk to you soon.,
