I have no idea what or why it happened but after 44 years something clicked and now I want to eat better and exercise more. I am not sure if it is some sort of mid life thing but whatever it is it sure took hold. I have never liked to run and barely liked walking just to walk. If it was baseball, basketball, hiking or hunting I would do it all day long.

So while I could be active it was a choice I selfishly made to only do when I wanted to do it. Now it is something I want to do in ...

Thanks for the encouragement Steve! I am one of those people who really don't care what people think of me. For example, after I lost 10 pounds I was running on the treadmill and my running pants fell down. Lots of men in back of me, but I just laughed. The only one I'm in competition with is ME!

Hi there!
I'm hangin' in there!:)) Still can't do the full 5K anymore!!!:(( But I'm trying! Today was a good day. Wednesday. I started off with a 5 min. walk @ 3.7. Then,I actually ran @ 4.7 for 20 min. straight! Then I walked 2 min. @ 3.7 ran 13 min. walked 2 ran 10 walked 5. I'm not in pain or winded. You know when you do something repetitively for a long time, how your muscles finally just need a break cuz you used everything up? Well that's the feeling I get. I get plenty of carbs. Protein might need a bump but, that's nothing new. I get more now than when I could do the 5K straight through!

What's new with you? I haven't snooped around your page today. The less time here helps AND hurts me. It's a paradox! Thanks for checkin' on me!:))
