10 lbs. to lose and keep off. Goal is steady 115. Gained some weight due to hardcore strength training (love it!) which has helped me build lean muscle. Trying to focus more on how I look in the mirror, not on the numbers on the scale, but I'm still pretty set on my goal!

I still have my doubts but I know if I train hard I can do it, and I'm thrilled at just the thought of it!!

Update: Did the NYC Marathon in November 2010! It was an incredible experience in my life. I never thought I could do it and I DID IT!

Unfortunately, right after the marathon I got terrible tendonitis and was out for 2 months. I realized that I needed to do a lot more strength training to prepare my body for such exertion. So, I started doing more lifting and a lot less running. Now that I have some muscle, I'm ready to get back into the running game, and am hoping to do the LA marathon next year. We'll see how it goes!

My Program:
Exercise on Monday, Wednesday, and at least one day on the weekend (Fri, Sat, or Sun).

Do yoga in the morning when I wake up.

Plan meals ahead of time-- if i'm going out, look at the menu before hand so I know what to order.



Personal Information:
I live in Brooklyn, NY and am on a tight budget. I usually cook healthy meals (my problem is eating too much instead of not eating the right things, especially late at night!)

Other Information:
Proud to finally be able to call myself a runner!

Hi there. Thanks for stopping by my page. Let me know what moves you are not sure about and I can explain them to you. Also, you can always type them in on the spark exercises to see if they have the demonstration there for you. You let me know so I can help. Have fun with it. I can also give you a better explaination of Fridays workout if you would like. I will post week 2 probably Sunday night. It goes for 4 weeks. Good luck. I added you as a friend.
