Hello fellow sparkers! My name's Gina and I'm trying to get myself in better shape. I have 6 wonderful ferrets, I play violin, go to school and work pretty much full time at a restuarant in the city of brotherly love. So I have a lot on my plate, or well I wish!
My life was flipped upside down when my dad died of a heart attaack at the age of 52. I smoked, drank, did drugs, was overweight, and as sad as it is, the sudden loss of my father is what encouraged and motivated me to get my life in shape. I stopped smoking, lost 25 pounds, i drink on occasion (come on now) and I'm feeling better about myself than I ever had before.
I'm here to say don't let a life altering experience be what motivates you. I wish I was healthier so I could've spent more time with my father. But now I will live FOR him, and be heart healthy. Don't wait until it's too late. People are in general procrastinators, but you won't be around forever, you have to seize the day.
"You're not as fat as you imagine"
"Don't waste your time on jealousy, sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind...the race is long, and in the end, it's only with yourself"
"DO NOT READ BEAUTY MAGAZINES THEY WILL JUST MAKE YOU FEEL UGLY!!!"
I need to drop 30 pounds by the start of summer, and have a beautiful beach body. I want to be fit for myself, and for my boyfriend. I want to be wanted, to be desired. And i want to be fit and healthy!
So I feel the best way to keep myself on track is to switch it up! variety is the spice of life after all. that sounds a little odd for a program, but I think I'll change it in two week intervals.
I'm a philly girl, but not to be confused with the dirty guido girl. HEY YOUS GUYS! yea that's not me :). I love music, movies, and animals :)
Enjoy your body,
use it every way you canÖdonít be afraid of it, or what other people
think of it, itís the greatest instrument youíll ever

No, I don't have a dog, but I have ALWAYS wanted one. I wanted a collie like Lassie while I was growing up...but I had allergies and my parents wouldn't let me get a dog. Lucky for me, I am NOT allergic to the rugrats. Even if I was, we would still have them - they are too much a part of our lives now. I cannot imagine not having ferrets.
