January 2009: I have struggled with my weight for the past few years. I have continued to lose, just to gain it all back and then a little more each time. I really need to be faithful and determined and continue to lose it and keep it off for my own health!
Update Novermber 2009: I have now been on Spark People for over 10 months. I have lost over 25 pounds with SP!! I never imagined I would be able to do it and I look forward to the next 15 - 20 pounds, although I do not think they will be quite as easy!
In the past 10 months, I have jogged 3 5ks and one 7 mile race... I never imagined I could do this at 43 years of age!! Thanks Spark People and all my special Spark Friends!!! (((hugs)))
* To race The Bix (7 mile race) again and beat my time from last time! (1:50)
* To lose weight and learn balance in everything.
I am using Sparkpeople to help keep me motivated and accountable. The information and tools available on Spark People are so valuable to reaching goals and learning about health, nutrition, and exercise!

Dropping by to wish you a great day and week ahead, also wishing you a Blessed Christmas filed with God's abundant blessings..
In closing I leave you with the following poem!
Christmas Candy Cane Poem about Jesus
Look at the Candy Cane
What do you see?
Stripes that are red
Like the blood shed for me
White is for my Savior
Who’s sinless and pure!
“J” is for Jesus My Lord, that’s for sure!
Turn it around
And a staff you will see
Jesus my shepherd
Was born for Me!

Hey Margie, Sorry to see you're not able to be as active as you once were on Christian Ladies Tea. I know how life gets in the way. I'm just trying to keep in touch and get into a routine of devotions. I've always had trouble with that and being so alone here in CS is a good opportunity to be closer to HIM. If your church has a website I'd appreciate a link. Maybe by Private Message? thanks, Kitty

Dropping by to wish you a great day and week ahead and share a cup of green tea, hope you enjoy, thanks for your friendship and your ongoing support on my blogs. You are appreciated
We meet new people every day;
Why we like some, who can say?
Maybe it's because they think like us;
It might be because they seldom fuss.
It's hard to know why closeness grows;
We like some better; that's how it goes.
I think you're special; I’m glad we met;
Let's keep having fun in our friendship duet.
