Thanks for coming over to my page. I've done one marathon. I trained with a group, and took race day easy. I wanted to enjoy the journey instead of feeling the pressure of a finishing time. I'm more of a penguin :). Someday, i'm going to try for a 4:30 marathon finish. As i see it, just being out there makes us champions. Whether we finish or not, walk, run, or crawl, it all takes a lot of courage.
If you have an interest in doing a marathon some day, you can completely do it. I love a walk/run format, keeps you injury-free and makes it enjoyable. "Marathoning for Mortals" book has been my bible when training. It's realistic. 2509 days ago
