I've struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. I was never one of those people who was severely overweight but I've always been the chubby friend, "pleasantly plump", and even fluffy. When I was fourteen I battled with a bought of anorexia and, while I lost about twenty five pounds, I gained all the weight back after I stopped dieting. For the first time in my life I am eating properly, cleaning the house, waking up after eight hours of sleep(before noon, a huge feat). My emotions ...

For the first time in my life I am eating properly, cleaning the house, waking up after eight hours of sleep(before noon, a huge feat). My emotions and eczema are under control and I am making progress everyday. It is still hard and everyday is a struggle to better myself. I don't necessarily have much more to lose(as I am making this half way through my journey)but I would love to be slender and a proper size for my five foot frame. I am only twenty years old and have my whole life ahead of me. I spent my teens being uncomfortable and out of shape while my friends wore shorts and bikinis. I want to be able to wear a bikini in my twenties and be truly healthy and happy.

We all deserve to be happy and feel beautiful. I want to help others reach their goals and realize this and I would love to one day be a nutritionist or personal trainer.

My Goals:
I'd love to be able to wear a bikini before my 21st birthday. Vain, I know, but there it is.

Running has also always seemed kinda scary so I would love to someday be able to run for more than just a minute. I haven't quite tackled that yet.

-to be fit
-to be toned
-to have at least close to a flat stomach
-to eat healthy most of the time
-to love myself!

My Program:
I try to walk at least half an hour everyday(not including what I do in the house. I have always loved walking). I weight train with the Biggest Loser Sculpting DVD three days a week and do cardio on alternating days. For cardio I either do the Biggest Loser Cardio DVD or I do the elliptical.

Other Information:
Being five foot tall and having a small frame means I have to weigh very little to look like someone who is average height. It's difficult to accept and explain to others but it's my lot.

I am also 5 foot and no inches. It's hard to look like everyone else when every ounce shows on our little bodies. I have 14 years on you and 3 pregnancies so I don't think I will ever be 117, but I'm shooting for 120. It is nice to see a young person getting healthy - good for you!

I totally agree! Actually, I don't really like to be sore, but I know that it means my body is working hard! : ) I planned my running training days to be on the same days I have yoga so I get a good stretch afterwards.
