Hoping to become healthier!

I am at it again. I have a cyclical relationship with fitness and health. I seem to go along well for a number of months...absolutely loving riding my bike outdoors, and then something like bad weather or out of the ordinary scheduling derails my exercise! I have had about a year-long break now and I want to get started again. I would like to lower my cholesterol and look and feel better than I do now. I don't have a huge weight-loss goal..maybe 6-8 pounds...but overall health is my goal. I ...

I have that dreaded muffin-top that never used to be an issue. I really hope that I can stick to it this time!!

My Program:
I will start tracking my food intake daily. I will begin to increase my daily water consumption. I will try to walk at least 3 times a day for 20 minutes each walk.

My son was with his Dad for the whole two weeks, and that bit of R&R has to last me until next April!

I will definitely post some pictures up, my friends husband is a very talented photographer, so I'm waiting for copies of his photos as I have no doubt they will be a vast improvement on my finger-in-front-of-the-shutter snaps!

Hey, hey! Thank you for your comment on my page! Yes, I was away for a couple of weeks of hiking in Englands beautiful Lake District. It was fantastic - plenty of rest and relaxation, and enough hiking to allow me to stuff my face and only gain 2lbs! Back to the grind now though... boo hiss!

How are you doing? Getting pretty close to that goal of yours I see - good for you!
