The pictures I chose are of my 10 year old Yorkie just because he is such a little love and my new Nanday Conure Parrot Jesse. He is 4 years old so he is already trained to cuddle and not bite to hard he still hurts when he gets carried away. The other picture is me sorry if I scared anyone LOL

My Goals:
To loose 30 pounds.

Exercise 3 times a week.

Work up to drinking 8 glasses of water a day.

Small steps don't get discouraged.

My Program:

Honestly writing down what I eat even if I "cheat" Because I only cheat myself when I don't.

Exercise at least 30minutes 3 times a week.

Drink at least 6 glasses of water a day

I have been married to the same wonderful man for 35 years (2006). Sometime he sabotages my efforts.

Looking forward to learning a new life style and getting to know others on this site.

Other Information:
I love to read, crochet, and play with the grand kids when I get a chance. I also like walking but not by myself and right now I don't have a walking partner. My dog is to old to walk far any more and I don't really trust my parrot to stay on my shoulder or for a hawk not to think he is lunch.

Update on 6/2/14
New dog he has lots of energy and loves to walk.

Hi Connie,

Thanks for all the support and comments on my feed. I was in traction for a month, then weaned it to 4 hours a day every alternate day and now down to 2 hours a day once a week. I am being treated for a compressed lower disc...hopefully next week when I go for my check up I may not need traction after that. Yes I wear a lumbar belt when I am up and about...to support the weak veterbrae..(((Sigh))) these are but the Joys of Ageing....
