My kiddos were in the hospital 4 weeks. They were both 3+ pounds at birth. My daughter is still very petite, but I'm only 4'11", so that's probably just genetics LOL!! My son is taller than me (whew LOL). They had to go through lots of tests for hearing, sight, etc when they were babies to ensure they didn't have deficits, but they really had no long-lasting effects of their prematurity.

Your baby girl is SO beautiful...just like her momma!!

Ha yes I am, internal medicine. When I was pregnant with my first I was talking with one of my professors about how I wanted to make it to full term and he said "nah, 34 weeks is the magic number, babies born after that all do just fine." I found that reassuring and thought you might too!

Enjoy these wonderful days! So glad to hear your peanut is here.
